Justice-Involved Veterans Subcommittee

CCJCC established the Justice-Involved Veterans (JIV) Subcommittee to improve outcomes for system-impacted veterans.  With the strong support of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and the active collaboration of partner agencies, the subcommittee supports justice-involved veterans through targeted programming and interdepartmental coordination.

The subcommittee is led by justice-involved veterans within the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, ensuring that those closest to the problem shape the solutions, driving coordinated policy, diversion, and reentry strategies that reflect dignity, equity, and community.
