Jailhouse Witness Protection Task Force

The Jailhouse Witness Protection Task Force was established in 2005 as an ad-hoc subcommittee of the Countywide Criminal Justice Coordination Committee (CCJCC). The purpose of the Task Force is to address issues of witness protection documented in a Report by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office (entire Report may be viewed on line at www.lacountyda.org). The Report noted several problematic areas for which improvement is needed. The Task Force will review the recommendations of the Report with a goal toward adoption and implementation.

The Task Force will provide periodic progress reports to CCJCC.
