The CCJCC DNA Task Force will work to improve day-to-day coordination and cooperation of local criminal justice and law enforcement agencies in the delivery of forensic DNA technology; secure state legislation and action when needed; and develop countywide strategies.
Members of the task force include representatives from the Alternate Public Defender’s Office, District Attorney’s Office, Probation Department, Public Defender’s Office, Los Angeles County Police Chiefs Association, Los Angeles Police Department, Sheriff’s Department, Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, and California Department of Justice.
